​“You Are the Key” is a story set to music.

It tells the story of a Warrior who has returned from a terrible conflict and, at a certain point on his journey home, he sees, in the distance, a Fortress. It is silvery in color, majestic in size, and stands on a hill.

The Warrior senses that this Fortress is the goal of his quest.

In the distance, he already knows that this place will be for him.

The Warrior approaches carefully, dreaming of finally being able to rest his heart.

It is at the right distance that things can be seen clearly.

It is at the right distance that a man can dream of Freedom.

It is at the right distance that one can hope for Love.

The Warrior's Mother had taught him the Art of Doing.

The Warrior, from childhood, had learned the secrets of knowing how to do what needed to be done with diligence and selflessness.

The Warrior had learned to love his Mother for her ability to create something of value with little.

The Warrior had placed himself outside the representation that evil men had created to subjugate consciences.

He was not within their system; he was beyond, outside, where one could breathe.

He was grateful.

He felt that his life had its own dignity, tied to his being a seeker of the Sun.

Because of the war, he had left his Beloved at home, who was waiting for him with open arms.

She was the key to the Warrior's happiness, and through their love, he had built, within himself, a world of goodness and beauty...

​This EP, "You Are the Key," was born on a terrace in Val Venosta, at the end of August 2025. It encompassed several ideas, and I revived an old idea of ​​mine from a few years ago. It's a concept album, as it tells the story of a Warrior who returns safe and sound from war and reunites with his Beloved, after having walked a long path that allows him to discover his innate cry for Freedom and his desire for peace. At a certain point along the way, he glimpses a silver Fortress on a hill and thinks that it is there that he could rest his heart. The Warrior is the archetype of modern man, called to constant conflict, destined to perish, yet still capable of choosing the path of goodness and Beauty, to live a harmonious existence with those bound to him by true Love. This EP brings together the efforts of two months of research, introspection, and reflection. I'm very satisfied because, throughout the writing process, this music has given me strong signals of a consistency and depth of musical thought that reflects me, giving me good vibes. "You Are the Key" seals 17 years of analyzing my constructs and journeys. Formally, this EP is alternative and progressive rock, with symphonic sounds blending with electronic textures. I've asked myself several questions during this period.

1. Does it make sense to compose ten-minute songs?

Yes, if you have several themes to develop in the same song, with a complex syntax.

2. What do I really want to communicate?

I want to convey the hope of a possible world, made of goodness, for which men no longer wish to do evil.

3. What is the music of the third millennium?

The music of the third millennium doesn't exist; it has been swallowed up by Capitalism, which has turned it into a cesspool. Therefore, I compose to let the signs of Art shine, with a view to a total rediscovery of what the art of composing sounds in a score truly was.

4. Who is your music aimed at?

My music is aimed at anyone who wants to hear a story in sounds that still has meaning, a grammar, and a message.

5. Why still write suites?

Because complexity cannot be abolished. This turn of the century is trying to kill it, in favor of an alienating standardization. Music, like all Art, has become like a McDonald's sandwich: the same everywhere. There are people who still make Art, fortunately, but they live in niches, far from the spotlight of success. Capitalism has killed all forms of art, which is why I compose ten-minute pieces with large ensembles that will never be played on the radio, since they're not just any song.

6. What inspired these sounds?

These sounds spring from a state of peace within me, after an existential search that has been ongoing for almost twenty years. I've struggled greatly. I've been alone with those I truly love. I let go of everything else, and then, and only then, these melodic constructions and chordal clusters were born within me. One morning I was in Burgeis, in front of Marienberg, a Benedictine abbey on the mountain. The bells announced the exact time, and there, in that moment, when the profound silence of the mountain returned, I perceived within me a brief succession of sounds, for flute, which I immediately wrote down on the computer. That's where "You Are the Key" was born, this EP that has kept me company for two months, with an inspired and never banal composition, at least from the way I've experienced it in this workflow.

7. What does music mean to you?

Music is the attempt to build a cosmos made of Beauty, a witness to the passage of humanity on this Earth. It's the symbol of our pride, which is the ability to create wonders with all the tools at our disposal.

8. What do you want to achieve?

With the EP "You Are the Key," I intend to reach the hearts of those who listen to these compositions with a spirit of openness. This work is for everyone. Even children could listen to it, in playrooms, during music lessons. The purpose of this album is to describe a state of goodness and bliss that is within the reach of all those seeking their own Individuation. We need beautiful things. Capitalism wants to take them all away from us, condemning us to a life devoid of dreams and beauty.

9. Is there a remembrance in your music?

Yes. I want to remind myself that we are humanity, capable of doing wonderful things, in peace and harmony.

10. Why does it still make sense to write?

Because since the dawn of time, humanity has always needed traces of its passage, capable of making it immortal.

With childlike steps, humanity can reach the choral contemplation of the majestic and sublime vibration of goodness and virtuousness.
